Spoiler Free: This incredible book by @megwolitzer generated a lot of discussion, about relationships, the writing process and what it was like to be a woman in the 1950s. However there is a passage that Sophie reads about a woman’s ability to traverse the streets at night compared with men which really struck a chord, particularly as we were both reading this whilst the search for Sarah Everad was ongoing. The incredible work of @chloegracelaws and @fgrlsclub has really stood out for us as a beacon of hope because as you will see from our chat, not much has changed in the past 70 years in some respects.
