A Net For Small Fishes by Lucy Jago

One of us tends to avoid historical fiction — she blames her History degree as it leaves her questioning what actually happened and what, in fact, did not — whilst the other ought to be awarded a doctorate for her expertise and commitment to the genre. Both of us, however, thoroughly enjoyed this brand new novel, set during the reign of James I. Beautifully written, it’s the story of love, friendship and deception — and ultimately, what happens when two very different worlds collide. Thank you to our friends at @bloomsburypublishing for our copy. We do hope you enjoy our IGTV on this one, out tonight.
