Author Interview: Alison Weir

Honestly, we could have probably spoken to Alison for another few hours without noticing. She is a genuinely lovely, utterly brilliant author who has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Tudor history. I canโ€™t quite believe I owned up to a rather embarrassing moment post birth with her ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜‚

Iโ€™m also convinced the woman doesnโ€™t sleep or watch much tv because The Last White Rose, her latest book published this month, starts a brand new trilogy which is casually her 33rd title and she is writing some non fiction concurrently (as you do).

For those of us historical fiction fans, Weir is revered and it was such a privilege to get to ask her our questions and share amusing anecdotes.

I hope you enjoy this as much as we did recording it.

Huge thanks to @headlinebooks @publicitybychoice@caitlinraynor for sending over the book and arranging this interview – drinks definitely on us ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ
