Spoiler Free chat with the author of What A Shame. There’s nothing quite like a debut novel that blows you away and both of us felt precisely that about Abigail Bergstrom’s first book. Utterly zeitgeisty, this is a brilliant exploration of friendship, grief and what it means to be human in the modern world.

We both devoured this book because we quite simply couldn’t put it down — with characters that have stayed with us a number of books later. We could have spoken to @abigailbergstrom for alot longer and hearing about her career as editor and agent before writing was also fascinating. Thank you so much to the completely fabulous Abigail for letting us in to the world behind this story. We loved every moment of our chat and hope you will too.
