Author Interview

Have you ever devoured a book in one sitting and then wished you could ask the author a million questions. When I read this last week, tears were shed on trains within the initial pages being read.

@cecilekvpin is a master of language, able to depict a scene, characters and layers of emotion in a single sentence. We learnt so much from this astonishingly powerful yet short novel and are so thrilled to have had the opportunity to talk to her about this magnificent debut.

Longlisted for the @womensprize and garnering praise from icons such as @ocean_vuong – we hear about her own family legacy that inspired this moving tale. So many people will relate to the depiction of generational trauma and the piecing together of familial history.
