Spoiler free review of this much lauded debut by @raven_leilani , Luster is everywhere and for good reason. A visceral, tour de force of a book that has stayed with both of us. The characters are so real that I almost wanted to go out for drinks with Edie. Featuring on award lists such as @womensprize globally this is not one to miss.
