Unsettled Ground by Claire Fuller

Recent winner of the @costabookawards Novel or the Year and shortlisted for the @womensprize for fiction, Unsettled Ground has been described by @jessieburton as ‘the kind of masterpiece that a wide range of readers might want to read.’ For us, the title is entirely fitting — this is, in so many ways, a stunningly written and profoundly unsettling story. Opening with the last moments of their mother Dot, this is the tale of 51 year old twins — Jeanie and Julius. Having remained at home with Dot all of their lives, they will now navigate their days without her, whilst also learning of the twists, turns and secrets that have governed and shaped their very existence.

We can’t wait to chat about this one together on our IGTV tonight so do stay tuned — and huge thanks to @penguinukbooks for our copy.
