This monumental book examines the growth of the Sackler family and their role in the opioid epidemic. Meticulously researched, it reads like a sweeping thriller, a cinematic generational saga with a seeping sinister undertone. Also, when I emptied out every medicine packet I had in the house for this shot I did NOT consider having to put them all back. #worthit
