Homeland Elegies by Ayad Akhtar

It’s the 1st of January which means it’s our first @thebibliofilles official book selection. For both of us, the last few weeks of choosing and reading books together has pushed us both outside of our comfort zones and has meant we have read and enjoyed so many more books than we usually would have — even after a year of locking down, when books took on a whole new significance in both of our lives. We will be talking more about how we found each other and bonded as literary soulmates soon but for now, we are very happy to open 2021 with The Homeland Elegies by Ayad Akhtar.
