Wow. What an utterly moving and mind-blowing achievement of a book. Somehow, this feels much more than a book to be read; it’s a genuine work of art, a beautiful and harrowing sculpture of death and it’s existence with life. The story of a mother and a daughter, the past and the present and a future that will not be, we were both left in awe of Maddie Mortimer’s power as a writer. This is her a debut; it’s hard to believe but it’s true.

There is so much we want to discuss about this title — already nominated for the Desmond Elliot prize — and lucky for us, we get to do that with the spectacularly talented author herself. Stay tuned for our IGTV coming soon.
