Chaya and I had so many thoughts on this debut novel by the supremely talented @jessiecave — not to mention this gorgeous cover that just makes you want to pick it up and carry it around at all times.

In advance of our IGTV review coming tonight, what I will say is this: for both of us, Sunset was a book that we just didn’t expect. It hit us both hard and fast in its searing portrayal of the reality of grief and it is one that we devoured in single sittings, respectively.
